Ladies stop messing up your weight progressions in the gym! . Have you ever used one weight and could get like 10 reps then you move up 5lbs you're stunned that you can't even get 4 reps with just 5lbs added? . Now your confused and dont know what to do next…. . Because for muscle building and hypertrophy, we want to be able to get atleast 4+ reps to get enough of a stimulus on the muscle to help tone! . So instead of upping the weight say from 10lbs to 15lbs on lateral raises just do a little higher reps so if your rep range is 8-10 it's okay to move up to 10-12 rep range until you can move up in weight! . If you are getting 12 reps with any exercise you should be able to get a minimum of 4 reps at least with the next bump up in weight if you cant you are just mentally screwing yourself because i know you can!! #womenshealth #fitnesstips #workouttips
