Who does like a yummy lasagna in winter!? ☺️ This is a rough recipe as i can’t seem to find the original one Ingredients: - 500g of mince (beef or mutton) - 2 Tbsp oil - 1 onion diced (carrots optional) - 1 tsp Mixed herbs - 1 Tbsp Spice for Mince - 100g tomato paste - 1 can tomato, peeled & diced - Salt and pepper (sugar is optional) - Lasagna sheets (1 1/2 boxes) - Cheese For Sauce - 4 Tbsp margarine/butter - 4 Tbsp flour - 5 cups milk (warmed) - 1/2 cup cream (optional) - nutmeg (optional) Method: 1) Add oil to pot on medium heat, cook onions until translucent. 2) Add mince, spices, tomato paste and can to pot 3) Leave to simmer for about 15-20mins 4) Season to taste 5) For sauce : Add margarine to pot and let it melt, add flour and whisk slowly. Let it cook for a minute or 2. Slowly add milk, whisking as you go to get rid of lumps. Add cream and let it thicken. Season to taste (you may need to add more flour/margarine or milk if you feel its not enough) 6) Create layers, adding some sauce at the bottom then sheets,mince, sauce. Finish with a layer of lasagna sheets, sauce and sprinkle of cheese. 7) preheat oven at 180’C, let it sit for 30-60mins. 8) Bake for 30mins (or until cooked and cheese is melted) 9) Enjoy! #SAMA28 #tiktoksouthafrica #southafricanfood #lasagna #FoodTok #Recipe #durbantiktok
